Tales of the Talisman, a dynamic quarterly print science fiction
and fantasy magazine accepted my poem, Fairy Moon, for publication in Spring
2015. This is my eighth paying of thirteen acceptances this year. However since
most of the magazines are low paying I still have a ways to go to reach my goal
of a million dollars gross from poetry. I am concerned that since I am in my
tenth decade of life this may prove a problem.
Art Age Publications sold a script of my play, Love and Other
Obsessions, and sent me a royalty payment of $2.00. I think I'll add this to my
poetry earnings. A million gross from poetry is tough to come by and I am close
to a million dollars short.
